JULIA D. COLGIN

Julia Doris Henderson Colgin, 78, died Saturday, Feb. 3, 1996 at John Randolph Hospital, Hopewell.

Born in Georgia, her parents were the late Owen L. and Pearl Wilder Henderson. She was a member of Claremont United Methodist Church and the Claremont Argus Club. She was the widow of Ellerson Harvey Colgin Sr.

She is survived by a son, E. Harvey Colgin Jr. of Claremont; three daughters, Sandra C. Snow of Richmond, Rosemary C. Williams of Waycross, Ga., Patricia C. Cullison of Daytona Beach, Fla.; a brother, Bob Henderson of Florida; two grandsons, Private James B. Snow, U.S. Army, of Ft. Benning, Ga., and Roy E. Snow of Richmond and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held in Purviance Funeral Home, Wakefield, on Wednesday, Feb. 7, 1996 at 2 p.m. by the Rev. C. Leon Basham. Burial will be in Claremont Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association or to the American Lung Association.
