MARY E. HART

Mary Elizabeth Hart, 66, of the 500 block of Campbell Ave., died Feb. 1, 1996, in her home after a brief illness.

Mrs. Hart, a native of Franklin, was the daughter of Mattie Ann Cofield and the late Burt Robinson and was the widow of Richard Hart Sr. She was employed with Martin Luther King Center for 12 years and was retired from SEVAMP. She was a member of First Baptist Church, the Missionary Board and Hospitality Committee.

In addition to her mother, survivors include four sons, Wayne Hart and Ralph White, both of Franklin, Tyrone Hart of Virginia Beach and Richard Hart Jr. of New York; three daughters, Audrey Milteer of Franklin, ViAnn Turner of Decatur, Ga., and Carolyn Clark of Jamaica, N.Y.; two brothers, Ellis Cofield of Bronx, N.Y., and Floyd White of Ninety Six, S.C.; 14 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday in First Baptist Church by the Rev. Henry Blunt. Burial will be in Southview Cemetery. The body will be taken to the church at 11 a.m. for viewing until the funeral hour. Elvin Vaughan Funeral Home, Franklin, is handling arrangements.
