Robert Milton Bryant Sr., 52, died Feb. 3, 1996, in his residence.
Mr. Bryant, a retired telephone technician, worked for Bell Telephone Company for 31 years. He was a native of Norfolk and a former Sunday school teacher. He was a former Cub Scout Leader and a coach for Kempsville Athletic Association. He was a member of Moose Lodge (NU)39.
Survivors include his wife, Liz Bryant; two daughters, Lynne Bryant and Kelly Shields, both of Virginia Beach; a son, Robert Milton Bryant Jr. of Virginia Beach; his mother, Lorathorne F. Bryant of Norfolk; a sister, Gloria Beek of Chesapeake; and two granddaughters, Jessica Shields and Krystal Bryant, both of Virginia Beach. He was preceded in death by his father, Frederick Milton Bryant.
A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m Thursday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Lynnhaven Chapel by the Rev. Charles Blalock. Burial will be private and at a later date.
