Arlene A. Hammer, 47, died Feb. 4, 1996, in a Norfolk hospital.
She was born in Philadelphia, Pa., and was a Christian.
Survivors include her husband, Craig G. Hammer; a daughter, Jenne E. Michael of Virginia Beach; a son, Michael J. Hammer of Norfolk; and two grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Friday at 11 a.m. in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel. Burial will be in Chesapeake Memorial Gardens. Memorial donations may be made to Endependence Center Inc., 15 Koger Center, Norfolk, Va. 23502.
