Ben Jones has been named chief information officer of Children's Health System, where he is responsible for applying new technology to fit the needs of Children's Hospital of The King's Daughters. He is the former vice president of information services at Mercy Health Systems in Cincinnati and received a bachelor of science degree in industrial and systems engineering from Ohio State University.
Leslie S. Hodeen has joined NDC Medical Center, a Sentara medical group, as an adult nurse practitioner. She received her adult nurse practitioner certificate from the University of Virginia in 1981 and her master's in nursing science/family nurse practitioner tract from Old Dominion University in 1995.
Frederick J. Napolitano Sr., chairman of the board of Pembroke Enterprises Inc., has been awarded The Sertoma Club of Norfolk's 1995 Service to Mankind Award. This award is presented each year to a member of the community whom the club feels has demonstrated a special commitment to public service.
