Suffolk Public Schools, which were closed Feb. 5 through 7 because of hazardous road conditions, will observe the following makeup days:
The makeup day for Feb. 5 will be Feb. 17 instead of Feb. 10, because of previous staff development and student activity commitments. Middle and high school students will be dismissed at 11:45 a.m., and elementary students will be dismissed at 1 p.m. Lunch will be served only at the elementary schools.
The makeup day for Feb. 6 will be June 13, per the school calendar.
The superintendent will recommend to the Suffolk School Board at its meeting today the makeup day for Feb. 7 and any subsequent days which might be missed.
