The politically motivated accusation that the first lady was responsible for planting the Whitewater files in the White House book room is ludicrous, at best.
The Clintons are not a couple of yahoos from down on the farm, but two Yale graduates: one, the most politically powerful man on the planet; the other, a dedicated, somewhat misguided leader in her own right trying to champion women's and children's rights, the poor and, God forbid, the unhealthy. If she wanted the Whitewater papers gone, don't you think she has the intelligence to have destroyed them?
This is the office of the presidency of our country, and while some may find their 15 minutes of fame trashing it, their garbage falls on us all.
