William Roberts Phillips Jr., widower of Lucy W. Phillips, died Monday, Feb. 5, 1996.
Mr. Phillips was an Army veteran of World War II. He was retired from Reynolds Metals and was a lifetime member of the Mechanicsville Moose Lodge.
He is survived by his daughter, Alice Faye Phillips Matyiko; two brothers, Carl and Paul Phillips; three sisters, Marcella P. Griffin, Clara E. Thomas and Laurel Rasnick; 10 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Remains rest at the Central Chapel of Bennett Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends 7 to 9 p.m. today, and where services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 9. Interment will be in Washington Memorial Park.
