Capt. John Milton Schulze Jr., U.S. Navy retired, 64, of Rosaer Lane, died Feb. 6, 1996, in Virginia Beach General Hospital.
John was a retired naval aviator and a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy, Class of 1956. He was the son of the late John Milton Schulze Sr. and Elizabeth Coffey Schulze and the husband of Arline Virga Schulze. He was a member of St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church.
Besides his wife, he is survived by a son, Michael J. Schulze and his wife, Lenore; a daughter, Katherine S. Murray and her husband, John; and he was a beloved grandfather ``papa'' to David, Diane and Michael.
A funeral mass will be held at St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church, Friday at 1 p.m. with the Father Anselm Ober officiating. There will be a wake service held in the chapel of Kellum Funeral Home, Pleasant Hall Chapel, today at 8 p.m. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home and other times at the residence on Rosaer Lane in Virginia Beach. Burial will be in Princess Anne Memorial Park with full military honors accorded at the graveside. Memorial donations may be made to the Children's Hospital of the King's Daughters, P.O. Box 2156, Norfolk, Va. 23501. Kellum Funeral Home, Pleasant Hall Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
