Dr. Samuel E. Buxton Jr., 80, died Feb. 5, 1996.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Monumental United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Olive Branch Cemetery. The family will receive friends today from 4 to 6 p.m. at Foster Funeral Home, High Street.
The family request that, in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Endowment Fund of Monumental Church, or to Portsmouth General Hospital.
