John C. Salvi III was restrained and carried from a Massachusetts
courtroom after a fit of anger Wednesday. Salvi, on trial for the
deaths of two abortion-clinic workers, erupted after being told by a
judge not to display any writings before a newspaper photographer.
If Salvi further disrupts the proceedings, he will be placed in
physical restraints, said Judge Barbara Dortch-Okara, who added:
``You will sit and you will be quiet. . . . Do you understand me,
sir?'' Details, A7
