Monica Denise Ferguson, 40, of the 900 block of Goff St., died Feb. 5, 1996, in Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.
She was a retired machine operator of Southland Industries, where she had worked for 10 years. She was a native of Portsmouth.
She is survived by her daughter, Naressa Denise Ferguson; father, James L. Ferguson; two sisters, Ellery Gail Ferguson and Gerldine Towe; and her brother, Martin Ronald Ferguson; a loving aunt, Christine Taylor, and uncle, Crosby Taylor; and a host of other relatives, aunts, cousins and friends. She was predeceased by her mother, Mary E. Ferguson, and her brother, Harvey Gray Manning.
A funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in Mount Gilead Baptist Church. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park, Chesapeake. A wake service will be held today from 7 to 8 p.m. in the chapel.
