CECIL E. WILLIAMS

Cecil Ernest Williams, 60, of 912 Morgan Trail, died Wednesday, Feb. 7, 1996, at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.

He was a native of Pasquotank County, N.C., and was a retired planner and estimator from the Navy Public Works Center at the Norfolk Naval Base. He was a Catholic and a member of the Knights of Columbus in Elizabeth City, N.C. Mr. Williams was the son of the late Thomas B. and Annie Sansone Williams and the husband of Barbara Barnes Williams.

Besides his wife, Mr. Williams is survived by a daughter, Jeanna M. Brausewetter of Chesapeake; son, Ronnie Williams of Carrollton, Va.; two sisters, Catherine Marie Sutton of Woodbury, N.J., and Betty Ann Simmons of Norfolk; two brothers, Thomas B. Williams of Dinwiddie, Va., and John E. Williams of Norfolk; and two grandchildren, Kyle Williams and Brandy Brausewetter. He is predeceased by a brother, Buck A. Williams.

A Rosary Service will be conducted at 7 p.m. today in Holy Family Catholic Church, Elizabeth City, with the family receiving friends following the Rosary. A funeral Mass will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. in the church by Father Nestor. Burial will follow in Westlawn Cemetery. Following the service, the family will return to Holy Family Catholic Church to receive friends. Twiford's Memorial Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
