Harry Calvin Eure, 79, of the 900 block of Carolina Road, died Feb. 7, 1996, in Obici Hospital, Suffolk.
He was retired from Suffolk Chemical Company and was a native of Gates, N.C. Mr. Eure was a member of Southside Baptist Church, Suffolk.
He is survived by his wife, Maude Ellis Eure of Suffolk; son and daughter-in-law, Larry Wayne Eure and Debbie E. Eure of Suffolk; two grandchildren, Christopher Wayne Eure and Kevin Michael Eure; and a niece, Debbie Thomas. He was predeceased by his parents, Linda Rountree Eure and Elbert Eure.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday by the Rev. M. Webster Maughan and the Rev. R. Stewart McCarter in Harrell Funeral Home, Suffolk. Burial is in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens, Suffolk. The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 7 to 8 p.m. and other times at the residence.
