The same could be said for Bayside in the girls portion of the meet.
Smith won the triple (43 feet, 8 1/2 inches) and long jump (20-8 1/4), scoring 20 points. The Sun Devils took the top four places in the triple jump and the top two in the long jump.

In the girls events, Bayside moved into first place, also with 50 points. But the attention went to Aprelle Watkins, who scored all of Princess Anne's 20 points, giving the Cavaliers second place.
Watskins, a sophomore, won the triple jump (34-8 3/4) and the long jump (16-8 1/4, ending Salem's Maro Mitchell's four-meet district win streak in the both events.
