Several years ago Mr. Allen of AT&T made an error: He bought another company that cost AT&T millions and some 8,500 jobs. Instead of getting fired, Mr. Allen now proposes to sell his mistake and let 40,000 workers pay the price.
Already profitable greedy companies are downsizing or getting rid of employees - and we tell welfare people to get jobs!
About the budget: Congress proposes to give our air waves to the broadcasting industry for free. Worth $70 billion, no restrictions, no regulations - just a giveaway. Of course the BCI has given members of Congress millions of dollars, so it's pay-back time with our money. The budget battle takes a back seat to greed again.
