Mable Lelia Blevins, 70, of the 4400 block of Winchester Drive, died Feb. 8, 1996, in her residence.
Mrs. Blevins, a native of Portsmouth, was a member of Ladies of the Moose (NU)898. She was past president of VFW Auxiliary, Ladybug of VFW, Lakeville, Ill.
Survivors include her husband, Samuel W. Blevins; a daughter, Wanda Kay H. Welch of Portsmouth; two sons, Ronald Lee Hobbs and C. Craig Hobbs, both of Portsmouth; two sisters, Doris Crawford of Portsmouth, Lillie Pollard of Tallahassee, Fla.; a brother, James M. Horton of Chesapeake; and four grandchildren, Tiffany and Tara Welch, and Jeff and Michael Hobbs.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in Cypress Chapel Christian Church by the Rev. John R. Kimball. Burial will be in Cypress Chapel Cemetery. Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, is handling arrangements.
