MINNIE F. MOORE

Minnie F. Moore, of the 3200 block of Killian Ave., died Feb. 8, 1996, in Portsmouth General Hospital.

Mrs. Moore, a retired custodian, worked for Tidewater Community College for 13 years. She was a native of Harrellsville, N.C., and a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church, Portsmouth. She was also a member of Fellowship Club.

Survivors include her husband, Walter Moore; a daughter, Shirley Moore of Atlantic City, N.J.; two sisters, Ruth Staton and Hallie Faison, both of Ahoskie, N.C.; a brother, Willie Felton of Camden, N.J.; three brothers-in-law, Solomon Moore and Malachi Staton, both of Ahoskie, and John B. Moore of Portsmouth; two sisters-in-law, Carrie Lee Moore of Ahoskie and Mae Alice Felton of Camden; and other relatives and friends.

The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday in Ebenezer Baptist Church by the Rev. George E. Pone. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park, Chesapeake. Viewing at Corprew Funeral Home will begin at noon Sunday. The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 7:30 p.m. Sunday. The body will be taken to the church at noon Monday.
