Lollie K. Carr, 88, of the 200 block of N. George Washington Highway, died Feb. 8, 1996, in Chesapeake Hospital.
Mr. Carr, a retired foreman of Norfolk and Western Railroad, was a member of Indiana United Methodist Church. He was an honorary 50-year member of the Methodist Men, chaplain of the Deep Creek Senior Citizens Club and Woodman of The World in Walters. Mr. Carr was a native of Isle of Wight County.
Survivors include his wife, Nora Stephens Carr; a stepson, Kenny Stephens and his family, all of Chesapeake; and a number of nieces and nephews; two brothers, Warren Carr of Chesapeake and Wilson Carr of Walters.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday in Loving Funeral Home by the Rev. William Kube and the Rev. Ernie Myers. Burial will be in Holly Lawn Cemetery, Suffolk. Visitation will be from 4 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
