Lorraine R. Punte, 58, a school teacher, died Feb. 9, 1996, in her residence.
Mrs. Punte, a native of Baltimore, had worked for St. Pius X Catholic Church School for 25 years. She was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church. She received her bachelors degree at Towson State Teachers College and masters degree in teaching at Old Dominion University.
She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Richard A. Punte; two daughters, Lorraine Marriner of Norfolk and Laura Barnett of Chesapeake; a brother, Charles W. Beach of Edgewood, Md.; four grandchildren, Amanda Marriner, Ashley Marriner, Andrew Barnett and April Barnett.
A Mass of the Resurrection will be conducted at 7 p.m. Sunday in St. Pius X Catholic Church by Father William Dale. The family will receive friends at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, from 7 to 9 p.m. today as well as at the church on Sunday from 2 to 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Pius X Catholic School.
