CORRECTIONS
Legislation designed to protect the blue crab would limit
watermen to five peeler crabs, per bushel, that are less than 3
inches in size. A story Friday on the bill, passed by the Virginia
Senate, erroneously said the limit would apply to all crabs.
Fishermen have sighted whales 17 to 20 miles off Virginia Beach's
shore, but these are not Gulf Stream waters, which are farther
offshore. A MetroNews story Friday had an error.
A wrong photo ran with a story in Friday's Auto Weekly about the
Ford Explorer and Jeep Grand Cherokee. The car shown in the photo is
a Jeep Cherokee Sport, not a Grand Cherokee, as stated in the
caption.
An Associated Press story Jan. 29 erroneously stated that
Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia is one of only two all-male,
non-military colleges in the country, the other being Wabash College
in Indiana. There are a few others, including Morehouse College in
Atlanta.
A classical organ concert featuring Dudley Oakes, at First
Presbyterian Church in Norfolk, will not be performed Saturday
night. The concert, included in Preview's classical music listing,
was rescheduled for May 4.
Pleasant Grove Baptist Community Church in Chesapeake will
present Amy Williams in concert at 7:30 tonight. A religion note in
The Chesapeake Clipper had the wrong day. The church is at 818
Waters Road.

CLARIFICATION
Save Our Shelter (SOS) is a grass-roots, volunteer-run campaign
to raise money for Samaritan House homeless shelter. Many churches,
organizations and individuals are involved in the campaign. A story
and headline in Friday's MetroNews section highlighted only one
church involved in this effort.
