Legislation designed to protect the blue crab would limit

watermen to five peeler crabs, per bushel, that are less than 3

inches in size. A story Friday on the bill, passed by the Virginia

Senate, erroneously said the limit would apply to all crabs.

Fishermen have sighted whales 17 to 20 miles off Virginia Beach's

shore, but these are not Gulf Stream waters, which are farther

offshore. A MetroNews story Friday had an error.

A wrong photo ran with a story in Friday's Auto Weekly about the

Ford Explorer and Jeep Grand Cherokee. The car shown in the photo is

a Jeep Cherokee Sport, not a Grand Cherokee, as stated in the

caption.

An Associated Press story Jan. 29 erroneously stated that

Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia is one of only two all-male,

non-military colleges in the country, the other being Wabash College

in Indiana. There are a few others, including Morehouse College in

Atlanta.

A classical organ concert featuring Dudley Oakes, at First

Presbyterian Church in Norfolk, will not be performed Saturday

night. The concert, included in Preview's classical music listing,

was rescheduled for May 4.

Pleasant Grove Baptist Community Church in Chesapeake will

present Amy Williams in concert at 7:30 tonight. A religion note in

The Chesapeake Clipper had the wrong day. The church is at 818

Waters Road.

Hampton Roads photographs taken for submission to ``24 Hours in

Cyberspace'' are posted on the World Wide Web at:

A story on cyberspace Friday had an incomplete web site.

CLARIFICATION

Save Our Shelter (SOS) is a grass-roots, volunteer-run campaign

to raise money for Samaritan House homeless shelter. Many churches,

organizations and individuals are involved in the campaign. A story

and headline in Friday's MetroNews section highlighted only one

church involved in this effort.
