Joanne Marcel Gibson Loveland, 31, of the 400 block of Garrison Place, died Wednesday Feb. 7, 1996, in Virginia Beach General Hospital.
She was the daughter of Jim W. and Ruthe C. Gibson and the loving wife of Glenn C. Loveland. She was a graduate of Bayside High School and Commonwealth College, with a degree in business education. She was employed by Electronic Systems of Virginia Beach as a purchasing agent. Joanne was very active in sports and was Catholic by faith.
Besides her husband and parents she is survived by Darrell D. Anderson; a sister, Kelly M. Gibson of Virginia Beach; a nephew, Johnny Heinz; and two nieces, Samantha and Madeline Gibson, all of Virginia Beach. She will be missed by her family and host of friends; all who came into contact with her will miss her smile and life.
A funeral Mass will be held in the chapel of Kellum Funeral Home, Bonney Road Chapel, today at 1 p.m. with Father Noto officiating. Burial will be in Rosewood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the residence on Garrison Place, Virginia Beach. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. Kellum Funeral Home, Bonney Road Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
