RASHED HASAN

Rashed Hasan ``Carl E. Kelly,'' 43, died Jan. 31, 1996, in Oakland, Calif.

Born June 18, 1952, in Norfolk, he was the proprietor of Akrikan Reflections, an Afrikan art and jewelry store in Oakland, Calif., and a former drug rehab counselor for the Norfolk Mental Health Department.

He is survived by his wife, Laurie Hasan, of Berkeley; two children, Rashida Hasan and Rashed Hasan; his parents, Walter and Frances Kelly of Norfolk; three brothers, Walter, Eric and Kenneth Kelly of Norfolk; sister Jeanette K. Johnson of Md.; one brother-in-law, Ira Johnson, Jr.; one sister-in-law, Cheryl Kelly; five aunts; two uncles and one niece and nephew and a host of cousins and friends.

A memorial service was held on Feb. 5, 1996, in Oakland, Calif.
