LEONA MAY BARNETT

Leona ``Lee'' May Barnett, formerly of Oakton, Va., died Jan. 29, 1996.

Mrs. Barnett was born in Rocky Ford, Colo. She was the wife of George A. Barnett and was predeceased by her parents Leander and Hazel Cothren and brothers Johnny and Harold. She was a retired legal secretary from Northern Va. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Burkeville Ward, and Eastern Star, Hope Chapter, Fairfax, Va.

Also surviving are three daughters; Virginia B. Vernon of Portsmouth; Elizabeth A. McMicken of San Jose, Calif. and Katherine M. Genung of Gaithersburg, Md.; one son, Robert J. Barnett of Fairfax; 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

The funeral was conducted Feb. 1, in Vienna, Va. Interment was Feb. 2, in Silverbrook Cemetery, Wilmington, Del. Contributions may be made to the Missionary Fund, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, c/o N.E. Jones, 213 Robin Road, Portsmouth, Va. 23701.
