An autopsy has revealed that Friday's shooting death of a 14-year-old boy was accidental.
William F. Strahler was taken to Virginia Beach General Hospital Friday afternoon and died shortly after arrival.
The shooting occurred about 3:30 p.m. in the 3400 block of Woodsman Lane. Police have charged a 13-year-old resident of that address with reckless use of a firearm. His name has not been released because of his age.
