RADIO SMUT

Hooray for WTAR-AM. At last the station has the intelligence to take off a program that was offensive to so many people, ``Imus in the Morning.'' After many phone calls to the station and the FCC, I was beginning to believe there was no hope. The lady at the FCC told me there were only five ``words'' that you could not use on the airwaves. Imus used them all, for sure!

We must think about our young people and try not to expose them to any more profanity, sexual innuendos, etc. Young people are now crazy about Howard Stern's radio program and love to listen to it on the way to school. What is the world coming to?
