Regarding Dorian Reyes' letter concerning the treatment of animals in the circus: I wish many adults had such intelligence and insight as Dorian, as well as Dorian's compassion for animals.
I love the circus - the clowns, the acrobats - but I, too, refuse to attend until circus owners stop having animal acts. Circus animals are abused, and it is reprehensible that humans treat animals in such a way.
