Evelyn J. Hubbard, 72, passed away unexpectedly Saturday morning.
Born in Conway, N.C., she had been a resident of Canton since 1962. Mrs. Hubbard was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Hubbard in 1987.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Richard (Patricia) J. Anderson; two grandsons, Jonathan and Daniel Anderson; two brothers, the Rev. C. Bailey Jones and Charles Jones; and a brother-in-law, C.A. Willard.
Memorial services will be conducted at 7 p.m. Tuesday in Maryland Avenue Baptist Church with Pastor Dwayne C. Miller officiating. Reed Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
