William Thomas Blunt, 70, died Feb. 10, 1996.
He was a native of Southampton County, a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and a member of Mount Nebo Baptist Church in Surry.
Survivors include his wife, Inez H. Blunt of Norfolk; four sisters, Orverta Virginia Smith of Portsmouth, Annie Mae Barnes of Capron, Lucy B. Jordan of Windsor and Josephine Wheeler of Surry; a brother, Joe Blunt of Smithfield.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Mount Nebo Baptist Church by the Rev. Daniel L. Baltimore. Burial will be in Christian Home Cemetery, Windsor. The body will be placed in church at 11 a.m. Wednesday. Visitation will be from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home. The family will assemble at noon Wednesday at Pretlow & Chapman Funeral Home.
