Rose Harrell Holland, 83, of the 2300 block of Copeland Road, died Feb. 11, 1996.
A native of Surry County, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Edward and Maude Lee Harrell. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church and was retired from Planters Peanuts.
Survivors include her husband, Oscar Alex Holland; her son, James Ronald Holland Sr. of Virginia Beach; her sister, Mary Annarino of Newport News; two grandsons and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the R.W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home by the Rev. Stewart McCarter with burial in Cedar Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends in the funeral home today from 7 to 9 p.m.
