Emma Lillian Beach, 88, of the 4600 block of Winston Road, died Feb. 12, 1996, in a Portsmouth hospital.
She was a native of Portsmouth and the widow of Arthur J. Beach. She was a member of Churchland Baptist Church, Portsmouth.
She is survived by a son, A. Bill Beach and his wife, Charlotte, of Arlington, Texas; sister-in-law, Ethylene Price of Portsmouth; and grandson, Austin Jonathan Beach.
A funeral service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Wednesday in Sturtevant Funeral home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, by Dr. R. Clint Hopkins. Burial will be in Churchland Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 7 to 8 p.m. and at other times at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Gregory M. Pomije, 310 North St., Portsmouth.
