DUANE KROHN

Duane Krohn, 62, of the 900 block of Holladay Lane, died Feb. 11, 1996, in a local hospital.

Mr. Krohn was a native of Minden, Iowa. He retired from the U.S. Navy in November of 1972. He served in Korea and Vietnam and received the Bronze Star. Mr. Krohn later worked for the Virginia State Department of Corrections until his retirement in 1995. Mr Krohn was a member of Fleet Reserve.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia A. Krohn; a daughter, Debbie L. Tibbets; two sons, Larry W. Krohn and Duane L. Krohn Jr.; two brothers, Larry B. Krohn and Lindy Krohn; two sisters, Jane Green and Sally Casey; four grandsons, Daniel S. and Johathan E. Tibbets, Larry W. Krohn Jr. and Zachary Krohn; two granddaughters, Chasity Fuller, Jessica R. Krohn; and two great-granddaughters.

There will be a military burial at sea and services with full honors.
