Louise E. Ward, 88, died Feb. 12, 1996.
Mrs. Ward, a native of Richmond, Va., was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Clinton L. Ward Sr. She was a retired C & P Telephone supervisor who had 35 years of service. Mrs. Ward was a Protestant and a member of the Pioneers Club of America.
Survivors include three sons, Clinton L. Ward Jr., Robert E. Ward and Don C. Ward, all of Virginia Beach; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday in Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel, by the Rev. Robert E. Jordan. Burial will be in Rosewood Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. today.
