M. Lucille Doughty, 88, died Feb. 13, 1996, in a Norfolk hospital.
Mrs. Doughty, the widow of Cecil L. Doughty Sr., was a native of North Carolina. She was a member of Laurel Avenue Church of Christ.
Survivors include two daughters, Mary D. Henderson and Sydney Beach, both of Virginia Beach; three sisters, Winona Asbell of Richmond, Va., Mary Foster of Woodbridge, Va., and Wilchester Hershberger of Virginia Beach; a brother, Seaton M. Woodley of Boston, Mass.; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Indian River Chapel, by Pastor Rupert R. Wallace. Burial will be in Riverside Memorial Park. The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. today.
