JACK E. MOSEMAN

Jack Eugene Moseman, 70, of Route 3, died Tuesday, Feb. 13, 1996, at Chesapeake General Hospital.

Mr. Moseman was born in Portsmouth, Ohio. He was the son of the late Roscoe E. and Weltha Louis Moseman. He was a member of the Apostle Lutheran Church. Mr. Moseman was a retired U.S. Navy Chief Petty Officer and a veteran of World War II and the Korean Conflict. He was also retired from the Naval Air Station as a quality assurance inspector.

Survivors include his wife, Alice Thomas Moseman; a daughter, Jackie Moseman Ross of Chesapeake; a stepdaughter, Marie Talbott of Chesapeake; and two stepsons, Joseph D. Byrd of Chesapeake and James L. Byrd Jr. of Currituck, N.C.

The funeral will be conducted in the chapel of Twiford Funeral Home Thursday at 3 p.m. with the Rev. Craig Grandstaff officiating. Burial will follow in Chesapeake Memorial Gardens. Military honors will be accorded at the grave. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today at Twiford Colonial Chapel, Great Bridge, Chesapeake.
