SCHOOL MAKE-UP DAYS

Currituck County school children will make up last week's snow days on Monday and Friday, March 29, as well as attend school longer in June.

Schools officials announced Monday that the last day of school will be June 11 to make up the remaining two days lost to bad weather and road conditions.

Any additional missed days will be tagged onto the last week of school, said Superintendent W.R. ``Ronnie'' Capps.

``This provides an intact Easter holiday to any families and staff taking vacations,'' he said. by CNB
