Kay Frances Scott, 59, of the 1300 block of Kempsville Road, died Feb. 14, 1996, in a local hospital. She was born in Raleigh, N.C.
She worked in retail as a cashier and was a member of the Faith Way Apostolic Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Josepheus and Sevone Levister and one daughter, Leslie F. Scott.
She is survived by four daughters, Denise Beard of Zebulon, N.C., Sharon Revel of Washington, D.C., Linda Scott and Constance Dorsey of Norfolk; two sons, Warren and Donnell Levister of Zebulon, N.C. She is also survived by one sister, Mary Maxine McAllister of Garner, N.C. and a brother, Joe Levister II of Passiac, N.J.; and eight grandchildren.
The service will be held at the Faith Way Apostolic Church, 233 Hardy Ave., Norfolk at 1 p.m. on Friday with Elder L. Wingate officiating. Internment will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Meals On Wheels of Norfolk. Altmeyer Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
