Henry ``Chick'' Lewis Sr., of the 1800 block of Greenleaf Drive, died Feb. 11, 1996, in a local hospital.
He was a retired plumber from B.F. Conte where he had worked for many years. He was a native of Norfolk County and a member of Faith Church of Deliverance, Norfolk.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Adelle Lewis; five daughters, Brenda James, Lisa Lewis, both of Chesapeake, Kathy Lewis, Anita Lewis, both of Norfolk, Juanita Jones of Shreveport, La.; three sons, Freddie Lewis, Henry Lewis Jr., Marvin Lewis, all of Norfolk; sister, Irene Collins of Portsmouth; two brothers, Arthur Lewis, Leroy Lewis of Portsmouth; 17 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a host of niece, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
A funeral service will be conducted at noon Saturday by Elder Waverly Harrell Sr. in St. James Holiness Church of Christ Disciples, Brown Avenue, Norfolk. Burial is in Roosevelt Memorial Park, Chesapeake. Family and friends will assemble at 1872 Greenleaf Drive, Saturday at 11 a.m. for the funeral procession to the church. Metropolitan Funeral Home is in charge.
