Armed robbery, 1600 block of Liberty St. While walking, the victim was pushed to the ground. The suspect, who was armed with a pocket knife, took cash from the victim. Description of suspect: black male, wore a blue jacket. Jan. 16.

Armed robbery, 1700 block of Parkview Drive, Bon Air Cleaners. The suspect entered the business and demanded money. Description of suspect: black male, 6-foot-1-inches, 180 pounds, medium complexion, short hair, clean shaven, wore blue jeans and a brown down- filled jacket.
WESTERN BRANCH BOROUGH
(Suburban area west of Portsmouth)
Residential burglary, 4600 block of Peek Trail. Missing: video cassette recorder, Browning .22-caliber rifle with scope, Springfield 30-30 rifle, Remington 20-gauge shotgun, Mossberg .22-caliber automatic rifle, Mossberg 16- gauge bolt-action shotgun, Smith and Wesson .22 caliber Python and a cellular telephone. Jan. 5.
Attempted armed robbery, Dunedin Drive and St. Clair Road. Two suspects, both armed with guns, demanded that two victims lie on the ground. An oncoming motorist frightened the suspects away. Description of suspects: No. 1: black male, about 16, 5-foot-10 inches, 175 pounds, wore a snow camouflage jacket with hood and black pants. No. 2: black male, 16, 6-foot-2-inches, 180 pounds, wore a wool camouflage jacket with hood and dark pants. Both wore black wrap-around ski masks. Jan. 15. by CNB
