Call 'em ``scrunge,'' grunge lite if you want - Spin did recently - but don't deny Bush and Goo Goo Dolls their places in the modern-rock firmament. The groups arrive at Hampton Coliseum at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday with lengthy Top 10 runs under their respective belts: Bush's ``Sixteen Stone'' album has sold millions, and the Dolls' single ``Name'' is a fixture at radio. The California ska-punk band No Doubt (``Just a Girl'') fills out the bill. Tickets: $17.50; to order, call 671-8100.

The former Portsmouth resident returns to Willett Hall at 8 p.m. Saturday. Tickets are $13.50; to order, call 671-8100. For information, call 393-5144. She'll also sign her book at 2 p.m. Sunday in City Council chambers, 801 Crawford St.
