Shelia Yvette Turner, 30, of the 4100 block of Shelia Crescent, died Feb. 13, 1996, in Portsmouth General Hospital.
Ms. Turner, a companion worker, was a native of Norfolk and the daughter of Ida Mae Turner and the late Otis L. Turner. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Lamberts Point, Norfolk, and a choir member. She was a 1983 graduate of Great Bridge High School and a 1987 graduate of Virginia Union University.
Besides her mother, she is survived by a brother, Ricky Turner Crawley of Harrisonburg, Va.
The funeral will be conducted at noon Saturday in First Baptist Church, Lamberts Point, by the Rev. Anthony C. Paige. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Gardens, Chesapeake. Viewing will be today from 2 to 8 p.m. at Riddick Funeral Service. The body will be placed in church at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. The family will be at 5737 Roper Drive, Norfolk.
