Annie M. Charity

NORFOLK - Annie Mae Charity, 87, of the 700 block of Easy St., died Feb. 14, 1996, in Sentara Leigh Hospital.

She was a native of Wallaceton, Va. and the widow of James Charity. She was a member of Gideon Riverside Fellowship Church, Chesapeake.

She is survived by a stepdaughter, Rosa Mae Nixon of Portsmouth; stepson, Linwood Nixon of Norfolk; sister, Irene Robinson of Norfolk; granddaughter, Pamela D. Griffin of Virginia Beach; great-granddaughter, Nicole D. Griffin of Virginia Beach; and daughter-in-law, Viola K. Griffin of Virginia Beach. She was predeceased by her son, Cornelius Griffin.

A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday at by Dr. Milton Reid in Hale Funeral Home, Norfolk. Burial is in New Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery, Chesapeake. Family and friends will assemble at noon at 650 Baker Road, apt. 202, Virginia Beach.
