Joseph Martin, 57, of the 1100 block of Killington Arch, died Feb. 16, 1996, in Virginia Beach.
He was a retired electronics technician for Harris Technical Services in Norfolk. He was a native of Colombia, South America, and was a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church. He was a member of A.A.
He is survived by his wife, Diosa B. Martin; two sons, Marthel Joseph Martin and Jason Dave Martin, both of Chesapeake; a sister, Carmen Cabuya of Colombia; and three brothers, Manuel Martin of Colombia, Carlos Martin of New York, and Guiellermo Martin of Colombia.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday by Father Christian Haydinger in Prince of Peace Catholic Church. The family will receive friends at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Bridge Chapel, from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Children's Hospital of The King's Daughters in his name. Burial will be in Chesapeake Memorial Gardens.
