Police are looking for a white man, in his late teens or early 20s, about 5 feet 9 and 160 pounds, with sandy hair in a pony tail but short on the sides. He was a passenger in a dark-colored Ford Ranger pickup with a CB antenna on the roof.

The burlars entered two different locations in the Cherry Grove Road and Deerforest Road areas. They removed one Stihl chain saw, three Husqvarna chain saws, one Poulan chain saw, an Ernerpac hose machine, a double halogen light, a Sears kerosene jet heater, a floor jack, an air grinder and a large assortment of hand and mechanic tools. Some of the stolen items may have ended up in the Gates, N.C., area.
