LaRue A. Wilson, 16, of the 1300 block of Nixon Court, died Feb. 17, 1996, in Maryview Hospital, Portsmouth.
She was a native of Norfolk. She was a member of United Full Gospel Revival Center, Chesapeake, where she was a youth choir member and member of the Youth Usher Board.
She is survived by parents, Barbara J. Wilson and Anderson J. Wilson, both of Chesapeake; two sisters, Keli Wilson, both of Chesapeake; brother, Josiah Wilson of Chesapeake; maternal grandparents, Emma Thompson of West Virginia and Sidney Thompson of New Jersey; paternal grandmother, Clara Wilson of West Virginia; two great-grandmothers; one great-grandfather; and a host of other relatives and friends.
A funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday by the Rev. Dallas Ellis and the Rev. Janet Ellis in United Full Gospel Revival Center, 1225 Deep Creek Blvd., Chesapeake. Burial is in Roosevelt Memorial Park, Chesapeake. Viewing at Corprew Funeral Home will begin at noon Tuesday. The body will be taken to the church at 10 a.m. Wednesday.
