Daniel Layne Dalton, 39, of 3710 King Street, died Friday, Feb. 16, 1996, in a Portsmouth hospital.
He was a a native of Roanoke, Va. and a member of Moose Lodge (NU)898.
He is survived by his mother, Cordelia Joyce Elmore of Portsmouth; daughter, Denise Marie Dalton of Cleveland, Ohio; two sisters, Denise Forsythe of Chesapeake, Debra Vickery of Albuquerque, New Mexico; niece, Jamie Renee Dalton and a nephew, David Shane Dalton Jr., both of Portsmouth; and several additional nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be conducted at 7 p.m. Monday in Moose Lodge 898, 1400 N. George Washington Highway, Chesapeake, by the Rev. Tom Potter. The family will be at 2619 Meadows Landing, Chesapeake. Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd., is in charge of the arrangements.
