WILLIAM T. JOYNER

William Thomas ``Tom'' Joyner III, 47, of the first block of Dahlgren Ave., died Feb. 17, 1996, at his home.

He had been a project manager for Aygarn Associates. A native of Courtland, Mr. Joyner was a graduate of Southampton High School and the University of Richmond. He had served in the Navy Reserves. For many years, he was a radio personality on station WZEV, WYSR, WLEE, WTID and WQRK. He was a member of Emmanuel Episcopal Church. He is survived by a daughter, Amy Elizabeth Joyner of Portsmouth, and was predeceased by his parents, W.T. Joyner Jr. and Elizabeth L. Joyner, and his wife, Patricia A. Joyner.

Graveside services will be held in Riverside Cemetery, Courtland, at 2 p.m. Tuesday. Wright Funeral Home, Franklin, is in charge of the arrangements. The family will receive friends at the home of Mrs. Frances Nicely, 924 MacArthur Drive, Suffolk.
