NEW FIRM CAN ASSESS YOUR EMPLOYEES

Licensed professional counselor Michael Nahl and clinical psychologist Norbert Newfield have started Personnel Assessment Services in Virginia Beach. Nahl opened the new business in January. The company employs three, including Nahl, Newfield, and a technician.

``Bert and I started this business to help business owners screen out potentially incompetent or unbalanced employees, and instead select a work force that will basically provide them with an edge on their competition,'' said Nahl.

Nahl and Newfield will go on site and provide psychological and personnel screening of prospective employees. ``One might view our services like an insurance policy - it minimizes risk and maximizes the likelihood of hiring a loyal, competent and stable employee,'' said Newfield.
