LARUE A. WILSON

LaRue A. Wilson, 16, of the 1300 block of Nixon Court, died Feb. 17, 1996, in Maryview Hospital, Portsmouth.

He was a native of Norfolk. He was a member of United Full Gospel Revival Center, Chesapeake, where he was a youth choir member and member of the Youth Usher Board. He was a ninth-grade student at Western Branch High School.

He is survived by parents, Barbara J. Wilson and Anderson J. Wilson, both of Chesapeake; two sisters, Keli Wilson and Rachel Wilson, both of Chesapeake; brother, Josiah Wilson of Chesapeake; maternal grandparents, Emma Thompson of West Virginia and Sidney Thompson of New Jersey; paternal grandmother, Clara Wilson of West Virginia; two great-grandmothers; one great-grandfather; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday by the Rev. Dallas Ellis and the Rev. Janet Ellis in United Full Gospel Revival Center, 1225 Deep Creek Blvd., Chesapeake. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park, Chesapeake. Viewing at Corprew Funeral Home will begin at 10 a.m. Wednesday. The body will be taken to the church at 10 a.m. Thursday.
