Katharine Barlow Cross, 87, of the 600 block of Fairfield Drive, died Feb. 17, 1996, in Chesapeake.
Mrs. Cross was a native of Isle of Wight County, Va. She attended Atlantic Shores Baptist Church and retired from Mitchell and Smith Cork Co. with 15 years of service. She was the daughter of the late George Cleveland and Nora Thomas Barlow and was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Jones Cross.
Survivors include one daughter, Alice June McCulloch of Norfolk; one son, Paul M. Cross of Chesapeake; one brother, Russell Barlow of Stanley, Va.; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 20, in the chapel of Twiford Colonial Chapel, Great Bridge, with Chaplain Tim Manning officiating. Burial will follow in Chesapeake Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today in the funeral home.
